Do I have to shake the Chancellor’s hand to receive my award?

At the graduation ceremony all graduates shake the right hand of the Chancellor with their right hand and receive the award in their left hand.

If you have religious or cultural concerns with this method of accepting your award, simply cross both hands across your chest to signal to the Chancellor not to shake your hand.
