Answer

How are my thesis fees determined?

If you are an international student completing a Higher Degree by Research (HDR) thesis, your fees are calculated on a daily basis for each period you are enrolled. Whether you are enrolled on a part time or full time basis, the fees are calculated from the first date of the enrolment period until the last date. The first enrolment period occurs from 1st January to 30th June each year. The second enrolment period runs from 1st July to 31st December.

If you are a domestic student completing a Higher Degree by Research (HDR) thesis, you are currently exempt from paying tuition fees. Your fees are supported by the Research Training Program (RTP).
