Research the requirements for the course you are interested in on Curtin's course finder page to ensure that you have met all the admission criteria such as English requirements and prerequisites.
For Year 12 school leavers - Certain courses are more competitive, therefore having a high Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) will place you in a better place to be considered for the course. Please note that achieving the advertised minimum ATAR does not guarantee you a place in your desired course as there are limited places, every application will be assessed.
For Curtin course switchers - If you wish to course switch into a competitive course, your application can be subjected to your Course Weighted Average (CWA) from previous studies and the most recent Semester Weighted Average (SWA). The exact criteria will be determined by the assessing Schools. Course Switching criteria for most courses can be found on Curtin's course finder page.
