The Board of Examiners have the discretion over awarding Further Assessments and will consider whether the student:
- is enrolled in a unit within the first 200 credit points of their current course
- is enrolled in a unit within their final study period
- has attempted all required assessment tasks and only marginally failed the unit
- has not been found guilty of academic misconduct for that unit.
The Board of Examiners will also ensure that students:
- have two opportunities for Further Assessment in a Bachelor level course
- have one opportunity for Further Assessment in all other courses.
Due to the impacts of COVID-19, any Further Assessments granted in Semester 1 2020 will not be counted towards a student's total number of Further Assessment opportunities.
